Drivers Age

The minimum driver’s age is 19 years. However, age requirements and restrictions will apply to larger car groups.
The maximum age is 75 years.
A young driver surcharge of EUR 5 per day and the maximum driver’s age is EUR 30 per rental would be applicable for drivers between the age of 19-21 years.
A senior driver surcharge of EUR 5 per day and the maximum driver’s age is EUR 30 per rental would be applicable for drivers within the age of 70-75 years.

Drivers License

Drivers must hold a full and valid license for at least 1 year with no major endorsements. A valid photo ID card, National ID, or passport would be required at the time of pick up.
Any driver must produce a valid, original copy of their driving license including a photo ID.
An International Driver’s License (IDL) is not required
Insurance Coverage

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) And Theft Waiver (THW)

It is included in your rental amount

Collision Damage Waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the excess/deductible amount.
The excess amount for CDW & THW depends on the vehicle groups:
The maximum excess amount for a vehicle is EUR 400 – EUR 1700. Depends on the vehicle groups

Third-Party Liability Insurance (TPL)

It is included in your rental amount. Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with unlimited cover for personal injuries and material damages.

Please Note: CDW does not cover any damage to the interior or underside of the rental vehicle, tires and wheel damage, broken or lost keys, or contamination of fuel, nor in event of deliberate intent.
Excess Reduction   (Full Insurance Kasko 100%)

In the event of an accident, Super Collision Damage Waiver (Full Insurance)  reduces your excess amount up to a small amount.

The price of Super CDW varies according to the vehicle groups, which are as follows:

  • EUR 15-20 per day – For mini, small, and economy vehicle groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 0.
  • EUR 20-25 per day – For compact, intermediate, and full-size vehicle groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 0.
  • EUR 25-35 per day – For SUVs, Vans, premium, and luxury vehicle groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 0.
  • SCDW does not cover any damage to the interior or underside of the rental vehicle,  broken or lost keys, or contamination of fuel, nor in event of deliberate intent.

The administration fee in case of an accident is 50 euro VAT excluded

A police statement must be presented to the rental company in the event of an accident. Without a police report, the client is fully liable for damages.
The customer assumes full responsibility if the damage caused is due to an infringement of the road circulation code.
Super CDW is optional and can be purchased at the rental desk. For more information please check at the rental desk.

Cancellation

Free cancelation at any time.

Fees and Fines

The airport fee is included in the rental amount.

Other Fees:

1. If a vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned to the rental location, the renter will be deemed negligent. Lost keys are deemed as negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess limitation or risk reduction packages. Drivers will be liable for all costs relating to recovery, loss of use, and repair. This list is not exhaustive.
2. If the vehicle is exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery, or carpets an additional charge for deep cleaning will apply. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of the vehicle when returned.
3. Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of hours, is the responsibility of the renter until our staff has checked in the vehicle.
4. Fines, Penalties, and Administration Charges: It is the responsibility of each renter to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. If a fine or traffic violation occurs and the rental office is involved in administering the charge, then an administration fee of EUR 10 will be charged to the customer.
5. A minimum charge of EUR 50 (incl. VAT) will apply if you have smoked or are allowed to smoke within the vehicle.
6. A valeting fee of a minimum of EUR 50 (incl. VAT) will apply to rectify any soiling due to animal transportation.

Breakdown Assistance

24/7 breakdown assistance is included for all rentals. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Cross Border Travel

Cross-border travel is allowed on request. Cross-border travel is allowed to Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Greece. A Green card Insurance of EUR 40 (for 15 days) is needed and Cross border fees varying from EUR 25 per country to EUR 50 per country (depending on the vehicle group) will apply.
Fuel Policy

Same to Same.

You have to return the vehicle with the same fuel amount as it was supplied to you at the time of pickup. In case of less fuel, missing fuel will be charged at EUR 2.5 per litter in addition to a refueling charge of EUR 10 on your return. The price per litter charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Supplier’s fuel policies change from time to time, please confirm at the rental counter.

Please Note: You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card that will be released when you return the car with the same amount of fuel.
Payment method and Deposit

Payment cash and Deposit in cash are accepted

Major credit cards such as AMEX, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, and Maestro are accepted and must be in the name of the main renter while paying at the rental desk.
Make sure you have a large enough limit to cover the excess. In the event that a customer fails to present a valid credit card or there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, the car rental agent may refuse the release of the vehicle. Cash deposits are accepted but the decision is on the Rental agent based on the vehicle groups and the renter’s history with the company.

In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Deposit:

A refundable deposit varying from EUR 400 to EUR 1700 (depending on the vehicle group) is held from the credit card or cash at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.

Out of Hours

Out-of-hours returns are available only on request. Please check at the rental desk for more information.
At the Tirana airport pick up and drop off are 24 hours and 7 days a week.
For airport bookings, a flight number is mandatory to provide.
Late Returns
2 hours grace period is allowed. If the vehicle is returned outside the grace period, there will be a charge of an additional day or a late fee.

Delivery and Collection

Delivery and collection service is available only upon request.

Delivery and collection service is free of charge in Tirana up to 30 KM from the rental office. Above 50 Km a fee is calculated based on the total km.

The renter must provide the following information:

  • Hotel name
  • Address
  • Telephone Number
